The Oak Hill Condominium Association (OHCA) launched a major capital improvement program in 2018 to elevate the finishes in the common areas of the Terraces which are comprised of 314 apartment-style units spread across 4 buildings. Improvements to the Clubhouse were also targeted to increase usership and functionality of this community amenity.
After the initial design team and owner’s representative were terminated, Premier Project Management, LLC (PPM) was onboarded to resume the effort. PPM brought in one of its architectural partners to continue the design work. After drawings were successfully completed, a Request for Proposal for General Contractor Services was issued by PPM along with a recommendation made to the Board of Directors.
Currently, 2 out of the 4 buildings are under construction. The project will upgrade finishes in all hallways with new ceilings, light fixtures, carpet, paint, hardware, and way-finding signage. Lobbies will be fully renovated to include enhanced ADA provisions, new mailroom, and furniture. The Clubhouse will receive a brand new kitchen with additional millwork, new furniture, and a large format TV with audio/visual capabilities for community meetings/events.
